I think our current problems come from a lack faith in America:
- Republicans have no faith that Democrats will really cut spending.
- Democrats have no faith that Republicans will really force corporations and major donors to level the playing field.
- Gun control advocates have no faith that gun owners can find common ground.
- The NRA and extremist gun owners think gun control advocates want to ban all guns.
- The so-called Preppers – who are preparing for Armageddon – have no faith in the American spirit and the American Dream.
- Religious institutions seem to have more faith in the doctrines of Adam Smith than the teachings of Jesus Christ.
