Book Review: Code of the Extraordinary Mind

by John on 05/10/2017

code of extraordinary mindAll Americans should read The Code of The Extraordinary Mind.

Whether you are in the midst of your career, facing or past retirement, or you are in high school or college, this is a must.

Vishen Lakhiani offers a formula – really a way of life and thinking — for people trying to succeed and find meaning in this 21st Century world.

Some key points:

  • To succeed, you need compassion for others and for the world.
  • To succeed, you need to feel good about yourself.  Failing to forgive yourself leads to negative energy that steals from your focus of success.
  • Another deterrent is failing to forgive others – no matter the affront or slight, real or perceived.  Get rid of it and focus on your success.
  • Learn how to meditate at the start of each day giving you more focus and energy.  He has exercises.
  • Learn how to be Un-fuck-with-able.  This is when you figure out your way of life and no one fucks with your goals to stop you.  It sounds selfish and brutish, but combined with compassion for the world and forgiveness for others, Lakhiani says it works.
  • Lakhiani’s research comes from a number of well-known successful people like Elon Musk, Richard Branson, and Ariana Huffington to name a few.

(Informed Not Inflamed book reviews are: short so you read the book more than the review; and only about books worth reading.)
