Why Sequestration Is Useless: Third Way Report

Please read this. It’s from Third Way.  It makes way too much sense for elected officials to understand.

In short:

• Sequestration does nothing to curb long-term entitlements.
• Sequestration hurts current economic growth.

We need:

• Drastic changes to Medicare — to kick-in in 2 years — and future lawmakers can’t change it.
• Invest now in infrastructure and education
